ABOUT US

Founded in Bali and rooted in Indonesia's cultural heritage, Kitabisa Design Studio was created by Ririn Yaxley, a mixed media artist, interior designer, and furniture designer. Drawing on nearly 20 years of international travel, creative exploration, and design experience, Ririn established the studio as a platform for creating distinctive handcrafted pieces that bring together artistic expression, craftsmanship, and everyday function.

Every Kitabisa piece is handcrafted in Indonesia, combining contemporary design, traditional craftsmanship, and carefully selected responsible materials. From statement furniture and sculptural lighting to art installations and bespoke interior elements, our work reflects a commitment to originality, quality, and thoughtful design.

OUR APPROACH

Ririn's multidisciplinary background spans mixed media art, furniture design, interior design, textile art, and large-scale installations. Educated through the Interior Design Institute - Australia and the Florence Institute of Design International - Italy, she brings together artistic vision and practical design solutions to create pieces and spaces that are both visually striking and highly functional.

We believe in creating work with lasting value. By collaborating with skilled Indonesian artisans and working with natural fibers, reclaimed materials, and considered production methods, we create furniture, lighting, artworks, and interior pieces that celebrate craftsmanship, honor local traditions, and are made to be appreciated for years to come.
